our third day

On Friday, we spent a large part of our morning playing outside. I initiated some structured games. Through the games, children practiced following directions and the names of their peers. 

We continued our conversation about how we are kind during morning meeting, developing community expectations for when we come together. We talked about the word community and what we know about it. Two Kindergarteners shared their thoughts.

We will continue this reflection and I will ensure that the children's words are visible in our classroom. Much of my teaching is about community and connections.
